These are so soft and so adorable ! I am planning on using one of these to do some "newborn in a diaper" pictures once the Wee Captain Seahorse arrives ;)
In my opinion, they are definitely suited to those warm summer days coming up; baby can relax in just a t-shirt and diaper... Stay cool and show off that cute fluff ! You have the choice of one of those cute prints above, all you have to do is comment !
Tell me about why you did or want to start cloth diapering :) Was it about costs? Health? the Environment? or just all of the crazy, fluffy cuteness ?
For me, it started with costs. I was a young, broke Mama, and I was trying to figure out how to stretch my Honey's paycheck. I didn't think I could afford to use any of the new, exciting cloth diapers out there. However, I soon realized that with some good bargain hunting, I could do just that- making cloth diapering not only cheap, but easy.
As I added children to the family and our finances stabilized, I also learned more about my own values ( amazing how that happens when just making end's meet doesn't consume all of your energy...) and cloth diapering became more of a conviction. I value my children's health and getting back to the way that God intended the world to be, without manufactured chemicals and trash adorning our bodies.
At the end of the giveaway, one comment will be randomly picked, through the super high-tech method of "number in a hat." :) Maybe I can turn it into a little bit of homeschooling incentive and see which child will get to do the honors :D The winner will be announced and contacted for a shipping address ASAP :)
* This giveaway is self-sponsored...these are just too cute not to share, and I love getting other people on board the cloth diaper choo-choo train :)
I chose to cloth diaper for the cost - expensive to start, cheaper for life ;) I also like not throwing out tons of sposies. I also think its better for my baby's skin!
ReplyDeleteMainly for health/environment reasons. The cost savings and cuteness are added bonuses! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletehuntermb3 at gmail dot com
I was the same way! My sister-in-law used cloth diapers and introduced me to the idea. I loved the idea of saving money and helping the environment all while getting my baby girl in some cute prints! After a little convincing, my husband jumped on board and it has been great so far (only 4 months!)
ReplyDeleteI started for the cost savings vs using disposables! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWe started for the cost savings. And we've realized since that we hate the way disposables smell and they do nothing to contain big messes. I
ReplyDeleteWe started to cloth diaper to save money at first and with my husband being a biology teacher, the environment was another huge reason for us. But now it is the cuteness :) Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI started because my oldest son is actually allergic to disposable diapers. I keep going because they are just so much better for baby then anything else!
ReplyDeletexxcoco86xx2003@yahoo.com
We started for the costs, but it turned out that my kids have very sensitive skin which the cloth is great for!
ReplyDeletemindfulhome at gmail dot com
We started cloth diapering because I couldn't stand the thought of all those disposable diapers piling up in a landfill!
ReplyDeleteayakers (at) gmail (dot) com
I started researching it because I cannot stand making so much trash. The cost savings is what won my husband over and everything else is a bonus!
ReplyDeleteI plan to start using cloth for the savings and health benefits.
ReplyDeletei started CD for many reasons... mostly for my sons health, cost and the environment. my oldest had horrible rashes from disposables and after reading how much they have changed in the past 9 years it was not going near my son!! i am in love with CD and its fluffy cuteness!!
ReplyDeleteIt really started for us because of unforseen financial demise in our family. That's putting it nicely. LOL Added to that fact, was that our son was a preemie, and I felt that it was really just what he NEEDED for some reason. The environmental stuff is a bonus. We are currently working on becoming a lot greener in our house for the sake of finances besides that also. Our stash isn't quite big enough for two yet, and we have two in diapers, but we've only been at it for 3 months now. :)
ReplyDeletesassymommax3 at yahoo dot com
When I became pregnant with #2, I realized that if it was difficult paying for diapers NOW, then it would be IMPOSSIBLE to pay for diapers LATER. Then a girl moved in across the way who cloth diapered, and she showed me her stash and how she washed. That's what hooked me!
ReplyDeleteInitially, I started because of the cost savings, but then the more I read about health benefits and it being better for the environment, I realized I cloth diaper for multiple reasons.
ReplyDeleteI started for costs mainly, environment as a secondary reason. Then we continue to buy because they are so damn cute.
ReplyDeleteTo save money and resources.
ReplyDeleteI have not started cloth diapers yet .. but we want to for the cost and the environment.
ReplyDeletedollhousecreation(at)gmail(dot)com
We started cloth diapering to save money and for the health of our baby's bum.
ReplyDeletehoningharmony at gmail dot com
the reason i even started researching cloth diapers when my son was 7 months old because i was feeling guilty by how much garbage we were producing. i started researching and what ultimately sold me was the money we would save...and now i am completely addicted!
ReplyDeletetormentedcause@aol.com
I started for cost and because I didn't want all the crazy chemicals found in disposables against my baby's skin 24/7. I didn't realize how cute a chubby little baby in fluff could be, but it is definitely an added perk!
ReplyDeletejjak2003 at gmail dot com
I'm choosing cloth for the cost, health and cuteness
ReplyDeleteI first started cloth diapering for the health reasons, and have continued for the same reason and also cost.
ReplyDeleteI started for the cost. I continue for other cost and other reasons. They are just so much better. Even if I didn't have to worry about the cost of disposables, I'd stay with cloth.
ReplyDeletefreefluff@ gmail.com
I am going to start it because i think it will be great for baby and my wallet!
ReplyDeletei wanted to cloth diaper cause of all the pretty fluff. then after cloth diapering a while i realized it was saving us a ton of money, cause i have 2 in diapers soon to be 3. but maybe by then i will have one of them potty trained!
ReplyDeleteI started CD'ing to save money, now that I am only working 1x a week! It has saved us a ton of money!!! I am so blessed to be able to stay home with my son!
ReplyDeleteI watched Nature Mama on youtube about cloth diaper accidentally then my mind completely go with cloth diapers. I love the fact that it will help my husband and I save money in each month a lot since we live on base housing. We don't have to pay for the utility... my husband also loves the idea.
ReplyDeleteI started looking into cloth diapers when I was pregnant with my first child for a way to save money since I would not be going back to work. And I was amazed by how cute and easy modern cloth diapers are and I fell in love. Now I love them even more because I have seen first hand just how much better they are on my daughter's skin.
ReplyDeleteheididaily at gmail dot com
I started using cloth with our first child because of the savings overtime and environmental impact. But an added bonus is the cloth booty cutie - irresistible!
ReplyDeleteAll of the above!!! I love that we never run out of diapers, and I love that my son hasn't had a rash yet in 4 months. And they're super adorable!
ReplyDeletehmahan_0529@yahoo dot com
I was introduced to cloth diapers from some friends in a Mom and Baby Group. Through them I learned what the 'new' cloth diapering options were and how 'not hard' it really is! What sold me was the cost savings, the help towards maintaining the environment using them over disposable provides, and the cute fluffy butt!
ReplyDeleteWe just recently switched to cloth diapers. I love the price and the less waste. I also love that my daughter no longer gets diaper rash. I currently wash diapers every day, so I would love to win some more to increase my stash.

Reanna Wesley... I wanted to start cloth diapering because of two reasons. I wanted to save money of course and to help with with environment.
ReplyDeletei started becuase of cost and love it for so many more reasons.. the fluffy cuteness.. knowing my sweet los booty is no where near chemicals adn so many more...

I like using cloth because it is good for the environment!
ReplyDeleteThe environment was a big factor. It is green in two ways also!
ReplyDeleteI've been cloth diapering for about three weeks now. So far it's much easier than I expected!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to stay at home because not only am I a workaholic, but I worked at a place that had no interest in helping me be at home with my family. So, to stretch our budget, and because they are so much more eco friendly. So here I am, cloth diapering and dispelling a lot of myths to my friends. :)
ReplyDeletemdaughters allergies is what made us start
ReplyDeleteI plan on cloth diapering because it is cheaper than disposables.
ReplyDeleteOriginally it was about the costs and my little girl was getting a rash from any diaper we tried. Then it was because they are so darn cute. Our newest is cloth diapered and we love it, it is saving us so much money and it is so good for them and the environment!
ReplyDeleteIt all started when we found out we were expecting baby #2. Now we're expecting #4 and with 4 in diapers there is no other way to go.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it was a combo of things that led to cloth diapering. I had some friends that CD'ed and it was just too darn cute! My first child had Uber sensitive skin and cloth worked well for her. Now, I cloth diaper for the savings and primarily the health reasons!
ReplyDeletesarah.robot at gmail dot com
Also for me it was the cost. One day in the supermarket, buying diapers again, it just got me. I had seen some grovia in a local eco store and went there after groceries were done. bought 1 diaper and now i have about 30.
ReplyDeletethere is now definitely the cuteness factor involved and i never realized before that a diaper takes 500 years to be gone from landfills. even the very first disposable diaper ever made, is still around. :(
We originally chose cloth to save money, but wel ove the environmental no-waste aspect, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to cloth diaper my first because it's cheaper and the diapers are so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteStarted with cost and environment, cute was just an extra!
ReplyDeleteI initially did it just to see if I could save a few bucks here and there. Then it soon became an addiction!! bekki1820cb at gmail dot com

ReplyDeleteI am all about the crazy cuteness!
ReplyDeletewingsofafairy08 at gmail dot com
I wanted to save money, plus it just makes changing diapers more fun!
ReplyDeleteWe started because we wanted to save money, but there are so many other reasons why we cloth. Its eco-friendly, cute, and easier than disposables.

I started because of the cost. However, once I realized the environmental and health benefits, it just solidified my decision! I'm so glad I started cloth diapering.
ReplyDeleteI started because of the cost. However, I then realized it's not only better for my wallet, but for his bum and the earth as well! Thanks for the great giveaway :D
ReplyDeleteFor me, it was both the cost savings and I just couldn't stomach the amount of garbage that disposable diapers create.
ReplyDeleteolivialasting at gmail dot com
I choose cloth because of the financial benefits and because I can't stand the smell of disposable diapers!
ReplyDeleterichardrachel at hotmail dot com
I have not had my first kid yet, but I am choosing to cloth diaper because of the multiple benefits like cost, environmentally friendly, kid friendly, and super cute!
ReplyDeleteAll of the above. Cost was how I convinced Daddy, I was excited about health reasons and less waste in landfills. The adorable prints were just the icing on the cake!
ReplyDeleteI started cloth diapering for a few reasons. Mainly because it's better for our environment and because there are no chemicals on my baby's butt! Also, because they are stinking cute. And lastly, for the cost, because let's face it, if you get sucked in and start buying lots of super cute cloth diapers, it can add up :)
ReplyDeleteWe cloth diaper because I think the chemicals they put into today's disposable diapers are questionable at best. We are also using cloth for the environmental impact of disposables.
ReplyDeleteI did not CD my older 2 kids (9 & 7)....we are waiting to adopt a newborn and have decided due to health/chemicals, cost effectiveness, the environment and how darn cute the prints are that we will be cloth diapering this time around. Thanks for offering the giveaway! Love the Galaxy print!
ReplyDeletecjaysbaby@yahoo.com Christena
We started cloth because my daughter would scream if her disposable diaper was even damp. Cloth changed all that. (love the Galaxy print!)
ReplyDeleteI started bc I wanted my child to make the least evironmental footprint as possible... but also bc it is cost effective.
ReplyDeleteI chose cloth diaper for the money and to go green in our house! We are just starting our stash and don't have many yet but are building and can't wait for my little girl to get here to try them out!
ReplyDeletechoosing to go greener! and save some money
ReplyDeleteThe softness and cuteness! And the cost savings too.
ReplyDeleteIt was mostly the environmental factor. And a bit of the cute factor. And I used the savings to convince my husband to get on board! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe decided to cloth diaper after I started to read about the benefits for baby, then the cost, and then how cute and easy they are.
ReplyDeleteI had a crisis of conscious on earth day. Ordered 4 Grovia AIOs and never looked back
ReplyDeleteI started cloth diapering purely for the cost. I had 2 in diapers full time and an older child in pull-ups at night!
ReplyDeleteAll of the above. The costs help because we both JUST got laid off and she is due... um any day now! Also, I dislike the impact on the environment and the yucky chemicals in disposables!
ReplyDeleteMostly to be gentle on the environment! I also thought it was a great investment for future children!

cost, health, environment, and cuteness
ReplyDeletei orignialy started due to cost but i am getting more and more into saving the environment hayley.mucha at gmail dot come
ReplyDeleteI started because I got really tired of lugging 30 pound bags of diapers out to the trash every other day (we had twins). as soon as the boxes of diapers we got from my showers were gone we switched to g's and have never looked back! erinclot@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI started cloth because of the rashes my daughter got with sposies!
ReplyDeleteI started cloth diapering in Dec 2007 because my oldest daughter had a rash from disposables that wouldnt go away. I continued to CD with my second daughter because it would cut costs and I was already in <3 with CDing. Now we are expecting a little boy in June and cant wait to CD him too!
ReplyDeletegoldenleo816 at aol dot com
i wanted to cloth diaper my first but never did at my baby shower i recieved tons of disposes so i just never bought cloth and when i found out with my second i just bought a few here and there until she was born and i at first i admit i was a little scared i guess of the washing but my husband pointed out how excited i was when i was pregnant about the diapers and i bought a few so try it. so i did and im addicted now lol i love it and i am so happy i i cloth diaper my babys bum for her and the environment
ReplyDeleteBonnie Rodriguez
bonnier85@yahoo.com
The 2 main reasons I want to cloth diaper my baby due in early June are cost and the cuteness! I love that I'm saving a ton of money in the long run by using cloth diapers - because they're a one time expense, and they're less likely to cause diaper rash (less $ spent on diaper rash cream, right?). That is why I decided to cloth diaper. But since I've started shopping for CDs, I've fallen in love with how flippin' cute they are!
ReplyDeletei started because i was saving money and helping the environment!
ReplyDeleteThe original reason we started cloth diapering was to save money. But as I got started I grew to love it and love that I was also doing something better for my baby and better for the environment! mommyferg02(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteWe started because I thought we could save money, and I thought modern cloth diapers looked easier than I thought they were. The more I read about them, the more I realized that they do so much more to help with the health of my babies and the environment.
ReplyDeleteharrisk3 (at)mymail(dot)shawnee(dot)edu
We started cloth to save money. We decided to let me try out this SAHM gig, so saving money is a big plus. After we started, I slowly but surely realized how much waste we had in other aspects of our lives, so we focused on decreasing the waste not with just diapers and wipes. But if I'm being honest....they are just so cute! I LOVE A FLUFFY BUM! :)
ReplyDeleteI chose to cloth diaper b/c it is better for baby and better for the environment. I cannot bring myself to throw more trash into landfills that are already overburdened. It doesn't hurt that fluffy bums are so adorable.
ReplyDeleteWe started cloth because I didn't like the idea of all of those chemicals being on my baby's bum! It also helped that it saves money and is GREAT for mama Earth :)
ReplyDeletewe are cloth diapering our second child, due in july, for cost, health and cuteness! hehe, mostly the health part though, as putting chemicals on babies doesnt seem like such a grand idea ^.^
ReplyDeleteCost savings!
ReplyDeleteI started because of the benefits to my babe and the environment
ReplyDeletepopita624 at gmail dot com
I started because my baby would get the worst diaper rashes from disposable diapers.
ReplyDeletechaylmx@juno.com
All of the above! My daughters both had/have reactions to disposables, it's a HUGE money saver, they're adorable and I feel like I'm doing my part in reducing waste!

I want to start because of costs
It was a combination of saving money, cuteness factor and trying to be a little bit greener. When our 3rd was born my husband was still out of work and we had 2 still in diapers, cloth just made sense and then it became an addiction.
ReplyDeletesahmofdq@gmail.com
I started because I was going through a "hippy" stage and that was the thing to do. Despite me outgrowing that I never outgrew the fluff :-) It is so cute. I love the star print.
ReplyDeleteI chose to start cloth diapering because of the cuteness factor and the environmental factor..I love never having to make a mad rush to the store for diapers too.
ReplyDeletebakergurl02 (at) yahoo (dot) com
We are going to cloth diaper because it is better for baby!
ReplyDeletejonesmadelinee@yahoo.com
We started for money savings. We just had baby #5 in January and we're pretty sure we're not done yet. We have 2 in cloth right now.
ReplyDeleteStarted for the money savings and kept it up for the cuteness and green factors. My son potty trained at 22 months (2 months ago) and now I'm awaiting using cloth again with baby boy due in August.
ReplyDeletektiegen at yahoo dot com
We started to save money and the earth! marbles conlon AT yahoo
ReplyDeleteI started CDing to save money, but soon found I loved the greener aspects of it too! (and I don't mean the poo)
ReplyDeleteI started with DS because I didn't like all the sposies I bought and threw away each week with DS. Once I started, I really liked the money and the cute factors too.
ReplyDeleteI started cloth diapering because I hated spending more money on diapers every week. Now I love sharing the cute prints with friends and helping other learn that cloth really isn't that hard!
ReplyDeletemrsbinoh at gmail dot com
We began CDing for the cost, but I am also have a chemical-phobia lol so that helps too!

We CD to save $ & the environment, though we've discovered other benefits as well, like the fact my toddler has never had a diaper rash.
ReplyDeletekdent1@indy.rr.com
My husband started his own business a little over a year ago, shortly before we got pregnant. That means money's tight still, even though it's going well. Cloth diapers meant I wouldn't have to feel guilty every time we needed to buy MORE disposables, and we'd never run out -- we could just wash them.
ReplyDeleteWe looked into and started cloth diapering to save money. Then we realized that it's so much better than disposable diapers. Now, it's turned into a "hobby" of mine!
ReplyDeletejdeemarie @ gmail.com
I do not cloth diaper, but my sister-in-law plans to once her little one gets here! She is doing it both to save money and because it's eco-friendly!
ReplyDeleteAll of the above! I love how it's "good" for my baby, good for the environment, and it's darn cute! Not so sure about saving money though,...
ReplyDeleteWe use cloth for baby's health and for the environment. I would also be good for my wallet if I could stop falling in love with fluff! (just kidding, even with a few 'extras' it's still cheaper than disposables). I really like how cute my LO is in her diapers.
ReplyDeleteI'm still on the fence about cloth diapering. I need to experience it first. I am expecting next week and we'll see how it all works out.
ReplyDeletetamarsweeps at gmail
I started using cloth because of finances. My sisters have been trying to convince me for over a year now and I when I finally realized that I didn't have to jump in with both feet and commit to cding, I was willing to try. Needless to say I've been won over completely now. ;) I love that my baby is wearing soft diapers instead of paper and plastic ones and of course they are quite cute. My sister even sells her own brand of diapers now! :D
ReplyDeleteI started cloth because of the economical benefits. Since having my first son I've been a SAHM while my husband teaches at a private Christian school. We have to save money where we can since we are on one income now and using cloth diapers is one way we are doing it :) We didn't start till after our son turned one. We are expecting another son next month so it will be even more reason to use cloth instead of disposables with 2 in diapers (my first is 20 months now). Now that I've started, I enjoy not seeing all the disposables in the garbage!
ReplyDeleteI started cd'ing because it seemed the normal thing to do (despite the vast majority of Americans not cd'ing). My husband and I were both (yes, both) cloth diapered so it was really a logical step for us.
ReplyDeleteCloth diapers have come a long way, but it may interest you to know that we inherited our own diapers back and used them on our oldest...until they fell apart. :) 30 years does things to fabric.
laura_flute@yahoo.com
I started cloth diapering for all the reasons!! I love not having to buy sposies! I like the fact my kids do not have to wear paper and plastic all the time I still put on a sposie at night, I have not braved that one yet!
ReplyDeleteWe initially started looking into it for environmental and financial reasons, but it was the cuteness that did me in :)
ReplyDeletei started cloth diapering for the environment. now i have three in cloth. i hope the environment is happy!
ReplyDeleteI started cloth diapering for the cost savings, and after I started researching cloth, I learned more and more about the chemicals and so many other things not diaper related that have been great for our family!
ReplyDeleteI did it for cost and cuteness. I hate spending money where it is not necessary and could not resist the cute fluffy diapers.
ReplyDeleteI started cloth diapering with my first child because she had eczema. It started to get better with diet changes but switching to cloth really kicked it.
ReplyDeleteMy main reason is that it saves us a good bit of money, but the reason I stay out of disposables completely is that they're SO CUTE!!
ReplyDeletei chose to cloth diaper for the comfort and health of my son! the extra savings has been a bonus! I also feel great knowing that I am keeping chemicals off his precious skin and keeping rashes away as well.
ReplyDeletequietct at gmail dot com
I started cloth diapering because of the cost and its just environmentally friendly! Also the diapers are just much better for babies skin and they are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI haven't started cloth diapering yet. I am looking into it to save money. Also I find them to be much cuter!
ReplyDeletekileypayne@hotmail.com
I will be cloth diapering my daughter when she gets here in 5 weeks. I will be cloth diapering because I am a stay at home momma and I just cant see throwing away disposables when I am home and blessed to have a washing machine and am fully capable of using it, I also love knowing that I will be keeping nasty chemicals of off my little girls tushy and out of our planets landfills. Plus they are just sooooooo cute :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Galaxy print! I started cloth diapering because of the cost savings. Especially when you're literally throwing money away with disposables. The chemical free cuteness of cloth just happened to be a great bonus! :)

We started cloth diapering for health reasons. We wanted to limit the chemicals our baby was exposed to. However, times have since gotten tight and it has been very nice to not have to buy diapers each month.
ReplyDeleteI cloth diaper to save money so I can stay home with my baby girl.
ReplyDeleteschwabsm at gmail dot com
I started cloth diapering in order to save money. I soon found out about all the chemicals in disposables, and I was horrified. You can't beat how darn cute they are either!
ReplyDeletecgarrett15738500 at aol dot com
I would say the environment is the largest factor for me. I just hate every time I throw away another disposable. The money savings is probably second, and then they're just cute!
ReplyDeletesara.acord@gmail.com
i started cloth diapering when my now 3 year old son was 1. he had ripped open one of his disposable diapers and the little pee filled gel bits got all over our carpet. it was a huge pain to clean up, but also made me realize how many chemicals were up against his tush, and how artificial disposable diapers really are! cost and cuteness were major factors in getting hubby on board, but for me, it was all about having REAL diapers :D
ReplyDeleteoops! forgot my email... michelle.r.damitio@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI started cloth diapering because it seemed like a good way to save money, and I liked the way cloth diapers felt and looked. I think they are fun to use. watershipdown at charter dot net.
ReplyDeleteI'm just beginning to cloth diaper. I started because my son kept breaking out no matter which disposable we used. Plus, the disposables are so expensive we just can't afford it anymore.
ReplyDeleterache81(at)hotmail(dot)com
I always wanted to cloth diaper my children but didn't with my first. I didn't know what to expect with being a new mom and everyone seemed to scare me into believing that cloth diapers were horrible!!! (Including my owm mother:) With my second I knew that I wanted to give it a try dispite what everyone said and I'm so glad that I did! It's become my hobby and I absolutely LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteWe started cloth diapering for the sake of our children and the environment. Of course it is hard to stop buying them once you start but I still believe we are saving money! Thanks for the great giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteCost...we are a family of 6 on 1 income...we need to cut corners everywhere.
ReplyDeleteI started cding so that I could stay home with my sweet baby girl and still contribute to our family's finances. : ) We love it!
ReplyDeleteI started cding so that we could save money on diapers with our 3rd child. LOVING it and so glad we did it. Wish we would have done it with our first two!
ReplyDeleteI started for financial reasons and it grew from there. Now I am in love with the environmental and health reasons. I have gone from cloth diapers to cloth wipes, and un-paper towels and am gradually moving towards family cloth. I love cloth diapers! They are sooo cute as well, and addictive! I talk to everyone I know about the benefits of cloth diapering.

ReplyDeletethesecretlifeofasahm -at- yahoo -dot- com
I started cloth diapering mainly for the cost factor. I'm a single mom with no income and can't be spending money I disposables all the time. Plus, it makes me feel good that I'm helping the environment out some. :)
ReplyDeleteWe started cloth diapering as a way of saving money. Now it's really made me look into everything we use on our skin.
ReplyDeletei started cloth diapering to save money and to keep chemicals away from my sons skin. i really didnt like the thought of all those chemicals on my babys butt all day long! and the cute prints dont hurt ;)

ReplyDeleteI did it because my mom does and of the health benefits and environment!
ReplyDeleteI haven't started yet but when my son is born in August I will! I want to save money and not have so much waste plus cd are so much cuter!
ReplyDeleteI started with my first son because he peed through everything! I found out that is was affordable and easy. We are currently using cloth with baby #2 :)
ReplyDeleteWe started for two reasons, 1) we had one in diapers and another one on the way and buying disposables for two isn't cheap! and 2) my son was wetting through disposables at night and he was in the largest size and I refused to buy pull-ups for even more money! Cloth diapers helped him wake up with dry sheets!!
ReplyDeleteonliquidice at gmail dot com
I started to save money because I had 2 in diapers.
ReplyDeleteI haven't started cloth diapering yet but I'm excited to do it. Minus the obvious economical reasons it is just so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteMy main reason is the environment
ReplyDeletebmweida at yahoo dot com
FOr me, when I decided we should use cloth diapers, there wasn't much of a reason except that hey - why not. I work from home, it shouldn't be too much trouble. It could save us some money. The initial investment was intimidating to me, but once I got my first few diapers, I was hooked!
ReplyDeleteWe use cloth because it's environmentally and fiscally responsible!
ReplyDeletecharychild at gmail dot com
Cost was an issue but the real reason we switched was because pampers caused a horrible rash on our daughter's booty that lasted for 2 months. No good. Cloth it was and cloth it will be <3 love them
ReplyDeletemy biggest reason was to save money and now i just love cloth diapers!
ReplyDeleteCosts & saving $$$, cute fluffy butts, and the looks I get from people when I tell them I cloth diaper. :)
ReplyDeleteI started cloth diapering because I felt it was better for my baby's bum and more comfortable, but now I'm just addicted to all the cute fluff. : )
ReplyDeleteMy initial reasons for starting to CD were cost and environmental benefits. I find that my son is more prone to rashes in cloth, so the health aspect hasn't been a top reason for me. I have grown to become obsessed with the cuteness factor!

I want to start cloth diapering based on cost/ savings, but I'm also intrigued by all the choices in terms of styles and cute designs.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to start after seeing how cute they were at a baby event. Then I researched & wanted to do it to help save the landfills, but mostly to keep the harmful chemicals off of my daughter's bum!
ReplyDeleteI started after seeing how disposables made my baby's skin red and clam-y. Cloth is so much better for her skin and so much cheaper in the long run!

I think everything about cloth diapers is why I started cloth diapering. I think they are so cute first of all. It really helps that it saves us money and is better for the environment. Cloth diapers are also so much better for our little man. I LOVE cloth. :)
ReplyDeleteWe started mainly for cost savings and to be green. crapinola@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI cloth diaper for a lot of reasons, but I really started because of the money savings. Now I would never go back, not even if I was paid to use disposables!

I started cloth diapering because of the fabulous experience I had with mama cloth pads. They were so comfy compared to plastic, I swore that my babies would wear cloth, too! ;-) Thanks for the giveaway!

We're getting ready to start diapering with our first (he's due in about 3 weeks). There were lots of reasons behind our decision, but the biggest ones were the financial savings and the lack of chemicals in cloth.
